Were back from our little trip it was wonderful to have the time off and to see the grandparents. However i so wish we could have stayed just one more day. We were there 2 full days and drove home Monday morning. Man i was exhausted when i got home and felt i needed a day to just rest the car ride is wearing. We swam at a nice natural hot spring there several times which was very nice. Hector and i made a trip out to area 51 to see the different things they have he was excited because he loves scary stuff and any paranormal thing me not at all. we got some pictures i will get posted up soon to show. We can't wait for our next trip hector really wants to hike some trail down at Zions and also stop by Moab, I hope it will be soon.

a much needed getaway
We are planning to go to Alamo, NV where my dad's family lives this weekend and man am I excited. I love to travel and I didn't do anything for spring break this year and I need a getaway from the cold and work. I just so happens I've been wanting to go visit my grandparents and just when I was trying to plan when my aunt send me a message that my cousin who lives in Alamo as well will be having his homecoming from his mission this week so that did it for me were going. I'm very excited to go to have just even a weekend trip but we get to see family and enjoy the time with them. I can't wait to go. It's a real random place to go for some but it's always been a part of my life and it's just so calm and nice little town that it really is relaxing. Hector loves to go down there it reminds him of home and he sure has been home sick this last while. Are plan is to go to Mexico this Christmas or February he can't make up his mind when to go which time would be better because of the festivities that go on during that time of year.

Mmm Chicken Chilli
OK so It's hard to admit but I'm not a very good cook. I know, I know shocking but Hector does most of the cooking minus any bake goods I'm good there. However the other day I was laying in bed thinking what to have for breakfast but all I could think was chili so I made it. I had to improvise with what I had but it turned out great and I am so proud I wanted to share the recipe.
1 can red Kidney beans drained
1 can Garbanzo or black drained
1 can diced tomatoes with green chili's
1 clove garlic
1 TBS taco seasoning
4 basil leaves
1 small can tomato paste mixed w/water or tomato sauce
1 cube chicken boules
couple shakes of red pepper flakes
I put it all in the crock pot for 2 hours on low while I went to class then I fried up some chicken and just did a little salt and pepper to season it. cooked it mostly through then sliced it into small pieces and stirred it into the chili and had it cook for another hour on low and there you go nice chicken chili.

Our weekend in Salt lake
Well this past weekend we went to Salt Lake and celebrated a birthday and bought a few things.
first off it was my wonderful mothers birthday so we had a nice dinner at Allen's house and Anne cooked an amazing dinner. Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and the whole work. man was it good we taught mom and dad how to play wee dad caught on well surprisingly and mom not so much but she did get the dancing down. Allen did dessert and he got these great assortment of cupcakes man were they good.
Not sure where he got them but they were delicious!
Hector and I have been wanting a scooter for the past couple years and this year we finally got one. We got a great deal on KSL of someone sailing it just 2 miles from Anne's place so we went and checked it out and got it. it was quite the adventure getting it around town in the rain then snow luckily we got it secured down in Anne's truck and got it home safe. I'm excited to use it to get back and forth from school and work since we both work fairly close it will be quite the gas saver from the Mazda. Another big thing this weekend my wedding ring finally came back from being fixed (since it had the wrong diamond put in) I was so excited I've been with out it for 3 months. All is well and going good for us and we alwyas glad to spend time with the family and to use our new toy!

Catch You Up!
Well Hector and I now live in Brigham City Utah now and love it. Hector loves the small town feel minus the small town. We have a very cute Apartment in the old Howard Hotel that they remodeled into amazingly cute apartments. It was hard for us to find something when we were looking and this one kept poping up and we figured this had to be the one and it was. I am working in FarrWest at the Comfort Inn as the Manager now which is always busy and great to work at. I'm also still in school at the extension for USU in Brigham city for now then I have to return to Logan further in. I'm studying Special Education Severe. I can't wait to help all the people. Hector is Working for Crane pools out of Corrinne installing pools and working hard. He wants to get his CDL so he can work the "Big" machines. We have a wonder dog chico who we love so much and are sad he cannot be with us in our home right now but he loves staying at my parents with there yard and other dog to play with. He is quite the character and so smart it crazy what he can get into or out of. We are truly blessed to have good jobs a great family and headed on good paths in our life. Until next time.
